About our story

Our Story

In August 2015, we re-launched as Aperture from Grant Thornton IVA and we are excited to share our story with you. We were known as Grant Thornton IVA for over 20 years and built a solid and reputable name for ourselves in the world of debt solutions.

We had then thought that there was a great opportunity to take what we had been doing well and build on this with values that were personal to our clients and ideas that offered an even fresher and brighter brand that would improve the service and journey of clients.

We believed that our experience and the vision we had for our clients could come together to create a brand that would stand for our internal values and the values that our clients told us were most important to them.

We believe that everyone has the right to a brighter future and should be able to trust that they are receiving advice that is truly personal to their circumstances and offers the best solution for them and their families.

It is our promise to you that as an Aperture client, you will always receive support throughout your entire IVA journey. We will always do everything in our power to help you recover from your debt.

An aperture in itself is an opening through which light shines and so many of our existing clients have previously said that after speaking with us, they felt like they could finally see a ‘light at the end of the tunnel’.

So we thought Aperture would be the perfect name to represent our new vision. We want to be that light at the end of the tunnel, the people that can help shine a light on your debt worries and show you the path to your brighter future.

Grant Thornton UK LLP will continue to be involved as a partner and our staff and management teams are still the same people that worked under the Grant Thornton IVA name. You can be sure then, that you are working with a credible, capable and confident group that have extensive experience and knowledge in helping people deal with their debt.

We are also the only debt solution company to offer face-to-face meetings with advisors in your local area because we believe in the value of building a strong relationship and allowing you to choose how you would like to work with us.

Non-judgemental

People fall into debt for many different reasons and some feel that they can’t speak to anyone about their problems for fear of judgement. We will never judge anyone who reaches out for help with their debt; taking that first step can be the most difficult and we are only here to help you take the next one!
