County Court Administration Order
To apply you must have debts of no more than £5,000 in total, at least two creditors and have at least one County Court Judgement (CCJ) against you.
An administration order is legally binding on your creditors listed in the order, no additional interest and charges can be applied to your debts and creditors cannot take any further action against you without the court’s permission.
You make one monthly payment to the court who will then divide the money among your creditors. The court will take a fee on each monthly payment and the total fees paid cannot exceed 10% of the debt owed.
The court will decide how much your monthly repayments will be; how long the arrangement will last and how much of your debts you must repay.
If you fail to meet your monthly repayments, the court can cancel your arrangement or make an attachment of earnings order and instruct your employer to take your repayments directly from your wages.
